Non-Government Entities - 75% Reimbursement Rate (Scrappage required). Replacing engine model year 92-2003: $288,746 towards BEV or HFC. Replacing engine model year 2004-2006: $171,456 credit toward BEV/HFC. Replacing engine model year 2007-2009: $72,182 toward BEV/HFC. Government Entities - 100% Reimbursement Rate Replacing engine model year 92-2003: $385,000 towards BEV or HFC. Replacing engine model year 2004-2006: $228,591 credit toward BEV/HFC. Replacing engine model year 2007-2009: $96,254 toward BEV/HFC.

Yes, scrappage of an existing diesel heavy duty truck is required to qualify for funding
Leased vehicles do not qualify for funding
Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received
At least 51% of the grant-funded vehicle or equipment’s annual operation must occur in one of the priority areas listed in Appendix A of the RFGA.
• Ownership, registration, and operation of the existing heavy-duty diesel vehicle by the applicant in Texas for 2 years prior to the application signature date • Existing heavy-duty diesel vehicle must be in operating condition with at least 5 years of useful life remaining
