On-road heavy-duty diesel vehicle replacement projects.

Reimbursement of 25% of eligible costs for diesel vehicle replacements with zero-tailpipe emission power source vehicles.

Approximately $600,000in funding available.

Leased vehicles do not qualify for funding.

Scrapping an existing diesel vehicle with no restriction on Engine Model Year is required to qualify.

Existing vehicle must be owned and operated by applicant for at least 2 years prior to replacement. Existing vehicle must have at least 3 years of remaining useful life.

Replacement vehicle must continue to perform similar function and operation as the vehicle being replaced.

No application required. Alabama fleets and businesses that are ready to electrify their fleet are encouraged to inquire.
